CONTAMINATION MONITORING SYSTEMSContamination monitoring is essential to gain optimal profit from a professional oil conditioning installation such as those in the RMF Systems programme. The CMS in-line contamination monitor automatically measures and displays particulate contamination, moisture and temperature levels in various hydraulic fluids. The CMS unit is designed specifically to be mounted to systems where continuous measurement or analysis is required, and where space and budget is limited. In addition to the 8 channels solid contamination measurement, in a full range of particle sizing and international standard formats, the CMS water sensor option measures water content using a capacitive RH (relative humidity) sensor. The result is expressed as percentage saturation , with 100 % RH corresponding to the point at which free water exists in the fluid. → Software All CMS unit are supplied with software to automatically download new results as they are generated, or to download historical results from the inbuilt memory, with space for around 4000 log entries. Each log entry is time-stamped with the CMS serial number for identification later. → CMS alarm relay status LED All CMS unit have a multicolor indicator on the front panel to indicate the status or alarm state. The alarm thresholds can be individually determined and set from the supplied software via the serial interfaces. CMS Related Products→ CMS USB-I Connector A custom-made solution for easy connection of a PL / Laptop to the CMS. Comprised of a USB : RS485 interface with a terminal block pre-mired to connect directly to the CMS. An extra terminal block gives the option of wiring to external devices through two solid-state relays. → CMS-RDU An optional remote-control unit for use in applications where the CMS is out of reach or in a location unsuitable for viewing. → CMS-FC1 A pressure compensated flow control valve specifically designed to fit the CMS, for use where the application produces an oil flow greater than 400 ml/min. Supplied with adaptors to fit the valve to the CMS. A minimess fitting on the value outlet port is a standard option. |

SMART OFF-LINE FILTERSThe successful application of depth filtration on hydraulic and lube oil systems and the demand for Condition Monitoring Systems to optimize the application of the filters led to the development of the next generation in RMF Systems technology : RMF Off-line filters with an integrated CMS unit. < < More > > One economical installation Smart Off-line filters enable machine operators to keep their hydraulic oil clean and monitor contamination levels real-time in one economical installation. The CMS integrated Condition Monitoring Systems can be combined with the entire selection of Off-line filters in the RMF systems range (see page6). Configurations Specially designed for industrial hydraulic installations, the RMF Smart Off-line filters are available in single or multiple housing configurations. The Smart Off-line filter units can be easily mounted to new and existing installations, and combine all advantages of RMF Off-line filters and CMS Condition Monitoring Systems in one efficient installation. The CMS related product options are equally applicable to the Smart Off-line filter units. |
